If the answer is yes, please attend on of the Center for Global Program's upcoming OPT Info Sessions. In order prepare you for your job search and planning, the Center for Global Programs will hold several OPT Info Sessions during the Spring 2023 semester.

What is OPT?

• OPT stands for Optional Practical Training. 
• Students use OPT to gain work experience after they graduate. 
• Work done during OPT must be related to your major. 
• OPT requires an application to the U.S. government that takes several weeks to process so we recommend that you attend an OPT Info Session to apply early!
